Confetti Rehearsal

As Phil directs our actors Steve and Nick in this brilliantly written play by Tim Foley, I’ve been a bit of an outside observer, getting glimpses of rehearsals and an intriguing foretaste of the performance to come.  ‘Confetti’ featured in Stage Write, our February new writing showcase in collaboration with No Loss Productions, as a script-in-hand piece.  It was extremely well received and we’re so glad we are able to take it into full production.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The weather having been so fabulous, rehearsals have mainly taken place outside.  I’ve listened to the flow of the dialogue interspersed with discussions about the characters; the tension created; the surprising humour in the piece…the text unfolds in an extraordinary way and I can’t wait to see how this looks on stage at Bedfringe.
